This event will feature an exclusive keynote by the influential Commander Kirk Lippold, USN (Ret.), author of Front Burner: The Attack on the USS Cole. In 2000, when the USS Cole was attacked by Al-Qaeda terrorists in the port of Aden, Yemen, Lippold and his crew distinguished themselves by saving the American warship from sinking in the face of one of the most brazen acts of terrorism prior to September 11, 2001. 21st Annual Encinitas Chamber of Commerce Oktoberfest

FREE PARKING is available at the Flora Vista Elementary School (1690 Wandering Road) with FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE from the parking lot to the Oktoberfest site. The event entertainment feature the Bluebirds, a German-American Band, Bavarian dancers and a street craft faire featuring over 200 vendors including artisans with unusual arts and craft items. The family food and refreshment tent will be serving authentic German food and drinks from local breweries. The event will kick off at 10:00am and include a ceremonial parade at 12:00pm. There will be a family fun zone with children’s rides, family oriented activities and much more. 2016 Local Craft Beer Line Up Coming Soon The “Keepin’ It Local” craft beer garden will have four of San Diego’s finest breweries this year! Stay tuned to find out which breweries will be pouring in the only 21+ area of the festival. The craft garden will be located at the east end of Mountain View at the shuttle drop off.
